Hello! I'm Scott Mac | Marriage Celebrant
@scottmaccelebrant
@scottmaccelebrant
I'm a lover of red wine, black coffee, my family and friends, a boogie on any dance floor, and of food (doesn't have to be fine). But most importantly, I'm a lover of love!
It’s my mission as a celebrant to bring your vision of your special day to life. I will do justice to your Great Love Story with laughter, those ugly happy tears, chilled vibes, and of course, oodles of love.
This career move was years in the making. Weddings are my absolute favourite event, and I always thought to myself "imagine if I could go to a wedding every week?"
Then one day, my best friends asked me to be their celebrant, and the door was open. I found what I was meant to be doing with my life, and the rest is history.
I am a lover of love in all its forms, and pride myself on my ability to make connections with anyone. Have a look at my packages below and you'll find just the right one for you. Whilst you're at it, jump over to my insta (@scottmaccelebrant) to get a feel for who I am and what I'm about. Better yet, let's go for drink on me and see if we're a vibe. I'll marry you in any place, at any time, anywhere in WA.

Remember sitting through that beautiful ceremony, where you laughed and smiled as you heard the couple's love story, and cried as they read their vows? This ceremony is for you.
This option includes all elements of the wedding ceremony, from one (or both) of you walking down the aisle, to me telling the crowd your Great Love Story, shouting your love to the rooftops through your vows, and ending with a great big kiss. I'll help you write your personalised vows, walk you through the ceremony structure and personalisation step-by-step, write your Great Love Story through collaboration with you and your loved ones, be at your beck and call leading up to the big day, and make sure we get laughter, smiles, and happy tears from the crowd on the way.

You've already got someone in mind who can dazzle a crowd and would be better than me (unlikely) but they're not a celebrant?
I'm here to help. With this package, your mate can run the whole show, and I'll just step in to do the nitty gritty legal bits. We'll still follow the full ceremony structure, and I'll support your friend throughout the process of writing your ceremony, so no-one needs to stress. I'll just be there to step in at the right time and validate your marriage legally.

Sometimes, short and sweet is best.
This option includes just the legal aspects of the ceremony and your own personal vows, without the personalised parts from me, just for you and your two witnesses. Over in 10 minutes from start to finish, I'll play a song of your choice for a quick entrance, help you through the legal bits, give you the floor to read your vows (if you wish to include them), and then finish with a toast on me. All you need to do is bring along two friends to act as your witnesses for the marriage certificate signing.
Want it to be just the two of you and that's all? Sure! We just need to have those two witnesses, so I can recommend a couple of great photographers to act as the witnesses for you.

It wouldn't be my first rodeo behind the mic, and I definitely have the gift of the gab.
A reception MC needs to be able to think on the fly, adapt to unexpected changes, and fill gaps with expert banter. If you're looking for this at your reception, look no further. I'll be there to let your guests in, let them know where the bar is and when the food will be out, welcome the newly weds in with the fervour that they deserve, and most importantly, I'll bring that electric vibe that'll start the party and keep it going through the night

Before I was a celebrant, I was a professional dance instructor. I've taught many a bridal couple to turn their unco stumbling into ballroom bliss during their reception. Got a classic song? Maybe a tune I've never heard before? I can teach you to move with ease and confidence to absolutely any song you bring me (and I mean any song). I have a team of South West and Perth-based instructors to suit your schedule, with lessons occurring right in your living room!

Don't be overwhelmed, I'm here to help! Read below for the full process of getting hitched, from the first stages of planning your big day, to the preparation of the legal documentation, and right up to the I Do's.
I think that a super important part of planning your wedding is finding a celebrant that you vibe with. This person is going to be helping you through every step of structuring your wedding ceremony, writing your vows, and pulling off the ceremony on the big day. Let's have a chat, or even better, a coffee or wine on me, and see if we vibe!
I book wedding clients on a First Come, First Served basis. That means, if you want me for your special day, you gotta confirm your booking asap!
I'll flick you a link to your quote, eContract, and info on paying your booking fee. After this step you'll be locked in baby!
The first legal document that gets done right at the start. We'll catch up over a coffee or wine to sign this in together. Easy peasy!
It's time to start planning your dream ceremony! Together we'll go over a typical ceremony structure, and discuss any extras you'd like to add in, such as readings, songs, traditions, rituals, or cultural aspects. As long as we say the required legal wording at the right time, anything is possible!
I'll also collaborate with you and a few of your loved ones to build your love story from the moment you met to the moment you meet at the altar. With this information I'll write the monologue that I'll read at your ceremony, which will knock that pants off of Aunty Em, make Dad ugly cry, and pull giggles out of Granny.
During this time, I'll be at your beck and call via email and text. Get an inspirational brainwave at 3am? Shoot me a message and I'll reply asap (when I'm awake, of course)!
Feeling those jitters because you're not sure where to stand? Don't worry, I was exactly the same my first time being part of a bridal party. I believe the rehearsal is an important part of the preparation. We'll go through how to walk in, where to stand, who says what and when, and really get you in the Good Vibes for your impending nuptials. I offer virtual rehearsals free with every package (they're just as good as an in-person rehearsal, I promise!), but in-person rehearsals are offered at an additional fee. An in-person rehearsal will happen at the location of your ceremony (if possible) at a time which suits you, me, and the venue.
This is legal document which declares that you are both legally eligible to be married in Australia. I'll get you to sign this close to the big day (usually at the rehearsal).
This is it. The moment you've been dreaming of. It's here!
I'll be at the venue nice and early to make sure everything is ready to go and in place. I'll also check in with everyone just before go-time to calm the nerves, force you to take a quick sip of water, tell everyone to do a just-in-case-wee, and make sure you're ready. When it's time to walk down the aisle, you'll be in good hands. Let's have a good time!
Post-ceremony, I'll promptly lodge the necessary legal documentation with BDM, and you can ride off into the sunset with your brand new Husband, Wife, or Life Partner by your side.
